VACANCY NOTICE - PUBLIC HEALTH AGENT - OPEN UNTIL FILLED

The Town of Athol seeks qualified applicants for the full-time, benefitted position of Public Health Agent. This Department Head level position is responsible to provide professional, administrative, technical and inspection work to plan, manage and promote all aspects of municipal public health programming.

Position requires B.S. in public health or related field. Minimum of three years of public health experience preferred.  Registered Sanitarian preferred or the ability to obtain within three years of hire.  The following certifications and/or ability to obtain any missing certifications within two years of hire desired: Title V Soil Evaluator and Inspector, Food Manager, Pool Operator, Lead Determinator, MA PHIT Housing, NIMS 700, ICS 100 and 200. Valid drivers license required.
